Michael's strong will, his loyalty to those close to him, his honest approach to his goals and beliefs, and his clear willingness to help others have been an inspiration to many people around the world for many years, from which they derive a way of life for themselves
After Michael's accident, fans had used the hashtags #KeepFighting and #KeepFightingMichael to encourage him and his family. The hashtags quickly spread worldwide. Every day when Michael's wife Corinna drove to visit him in the hospital in Lausanne in the summer of 2014, she noticed a #KeepFighting graffito on one of the motorway bridges. That inspired her to come up with the idea for the Keep Fighting Foundation.
The Keep Fighting Foundation wants to give the positive energy that Michael Schumacher and his family have received for so many years back to you - the people who sent it out. In this way, we want to do good by supporting charitable projects. The message is to show that giving up is not an option.
